Night Markets Oyster. There is a night market in just about every city in Taiwan. There are more than 100 of them on this island. They make life so convenient sometimes. So why do you like night markets, Cedric? Well, the food, of course! But most of all, the mood. It��s very hopping. Hopping, eh? Shall we hop to it? Let��s hop. I��ll have a small sausage in a big sausage, no garlic, just a little bit spicy. Just a little spicy, huh? Yeah. Thank you! So what about the food at night markets do you like, Cedric? I know it's kind of a cowardly answer, but I love them all. And I love the variety of it, there is so much choice. But what I like the most is, one, it��s always tasty. Two, always cheap. I have to say, even though a lot of the night markets are called a ��tourist�� night markets, the food is really down-to-earth anywhere you go. By the way, we��re in Kaohsiung��s Jinzuan Night Market. And this is a double sausage: a sweet pork sausage in a rice sausage. Is that enough sausage for you? Never enough sausage, but I think I will be full after this. I'm sure you will, and you know, this place is pretty new and you can see because the rows are wider than what you would usually find in night markets, and another thing I really like about this kind of place is it runs pretty late, so if you are leaving work a little bit late, you can go to the night market. If you��re having a party with friends and you didn't watch the time, the restaurants are closed, you can still come here. Or even for a midnight snack.
