Um yeah, so this is the Yongle Fabric Market of Dadaocheng,
Taipei.

There are just so many places to visit in Taiwan,
I wanted to save the best for, well maybe not last,
but I wanted to surprise you.

This is one of the most interesting markets I��ve ever
been in. On the first floor is a traditional food
market with both fresh and processed food.
On the second floor, there is a huge fabric market,
and on the third floor are rows after rows of professional
tailors to help you put together what you buy here
on the second floor.
Wow, look at all this fabric and all these stores.

More than 100 years ago.
Ah here it is! Cedric, these are especially popular
with tourists: Hakka prints.
I understand why they��re popular. Look at that - bright,
colorful, who doesn't like flowers?
I think these are peonies. Anyway so you take these
home to DIY.

now and get it out of their system, then we go across
the street.

To tell you the truth, before last week, I didn��t
know that Taiwan��s largest fabric market was here
in Taipei, right under our noses and that it was open
to the public to just walk around and to peek and
to even buy things.
I've been to the theatre before and this cafe is very
nice, the whole building, this is such a nice place
to come and rest after you've walked so much in the
fabric market.
Yeah you��re going to need to come here. You should
come.
