The hiking around Sun Moon Lake is pretty nice, not too difficult, they have fantastic views. You can get views of the lake from a very high position, and also you can get views of tea farms. Tea farms? They grow tea around Sun Moon Lake? Yeah, they also make tea around Sun Moon Lake. So is it Sun Moon Tea? Sun Moon Lake Tea? Sun Lake Moon Tea? These are Ceylon olive trees which produce olives that are not very tasty, but they make beautiful red leaves in the winter and fall. Yeah, it makes a beautiful scenery. Did you see the tea trees back there? Yes, we walked by, it was beautiful. The farms here produce a lot of large leave varieties. You mean this is a tea leaf? I thought tea leaves were smaller like this one. The smaller leaf varieties are usually used to make oolong tea or green tea, which have a shorter fermentation process. The larger leaves make a heavier flavor. So black tea, black coffee, does it mean it has more caffeine in it? Actually, just the opposite. Because it��s fermented for a longer period of time, you lose a lot of the caffeine. Ah, I see. So I guess black tea is better for tea time, because it won��t prevent you from sleeping at night.
